Butterflies for the Holocaust Museum

I just had to take a picture of the butterflies that some of the kids did at our schools summer program. I felt that these were worth sharing, before I send them off to Craft Critique. For their "Butterfly Project"

For more information on the Butterfly Project and the Holocaust museum, Please visit their blog.

It was such a wonderful thing to see the kids in our school participating in a project for such a deserving cause, each one of our kids are special needs children, and it was wonderful to see them care about this project the way that they did. Every day we had yet another butterfly go up on the wall in the hallway. After they left yesterday I took them down, and started packing them up to be shipped. I am so proud of our kids for doing this, and helping to add their butterflies to the batch that will be sent to the Holocaust Museum in Houston Texas.
Their goal is to be able to have 1.5 million butterflies,
We ended up with 44, just a small amount to contribute, but every butterfly counts.

I created 2 butterflies on my own, and posted them last week, so I will be sure to mail those in along with these.
