Mystery Monday at Club Anya....

 Hey there everybody!
I thought I would share a card that I created earlier,
for the Mystery Monday Challenge over at
Club Anya

The challenge is to use an Anya or Ian image
and create a card using Stars.
The stars must be part of the focal point
not just small ones in the background.
Stars they wanted, so Stars they got!

I decided to use Soccer Anya, and incorporate
some stars there.  After all, Anya IS DEFINITELY a star!

Considering this card has been left with NO sentiments at all
I think it could be used for either a thank you for a soccer coach
or maybe just a card to give to your favorite player!

I really had a hard time with something "soccer" as paper.
the only soccer paper I have is green, there was no way I
was going to put red, white & green on a card for soccer!
I decided to try and create my own DP with
some small soccer stamps that I won from
Rubbernecker a few months ago.
At first it was just a quick test to see how it would look,
but then I ended up liking the look, so I went with it.
Quite simple, but very effective!
Here is Little Miss Anya...the Star Player!

The stars I used are actually from a Fiskars stencil,
and the mini stars are either table confetti,
or star shapped buttons.
I think they were meant for this card.
I did some paper piercing, and then added some white
from my Signo Gel Pen to make them show up just a little more
and the ribbon, well that came from one of my
adventures of raiding someones old stash that they
didn't want anymore.  How lucky was I?

Anyway, so there you have it
Hope you like it!
