Christmas is Coming....over at Phindy's Place Challenge Blog

This week we have a PHabulously PHestive challenge for you over on Phindy's Place Challenge Blog.  The challenge is called "Christmas is Coming"  BOY OH BOY is it ever...  I was just looking at the calendar and realized how very little time is left before we are all out shopping, as well as mailing our Christmas cards.  WOW - where does the time go?

Well in order to prepare for the holidays, we have to start with decorating right?  So my card today is showing just how to decorate... Mouse Style...  LOL

I just had to steal an idea for a "Charlie Brown" style Christmas tree...  This little guy has to have SOMETHING to put his stringed popcorn and cranberries on, doesn't he?

I colored this little guy with Copics, and actually made the red polkadotted paper out of plain white cardstock.  I added distress ink, perfect pearls, and the dots were Stampin' Up Marker, so that they could all sort of blur together when I sprayed it with a mist of water.  I then wrinkled that piece of paper up tight, and then un-wrinkled it, and dried it with my heat tool.  I was basically playing around, a sort of trial and error sort of thing, and then found out that I absolutely LOVE the outcome!  Maybe I will have to use this idea again!

Alrighty then, that's all from me today, I hope to see you join in the PHestivities and enter our Challenge over at Phindy's Place this week.
