Sweet Love - Going Vintage with Belles 'n Whistles

Greetings!!!
It's Monday again, and it's time for another awesome challenge over at the Belles 'n Whistles Challenge Blog.  For our last challenge we had some more participation, which was just WAY COOL.....  I'm hoping to see that happen again this week.

The Challenge this week is to create a "Vintage Card"...  I have to say I was nervous about doing this, since I've never created a vintage style card prior to this one.  BUT... the outcome was better than I had imagined...  =)

Remember that now you can use ANY Elisabeth Bell designed Stamp for the BnW Challenges.  For my card though, I used "Sweet Love" from Belles 'n Whistles.

What a sweet couple, right???  Do you think this card looks "vintage" enough?  I just love the way it turned out.  And believe it or not, this image was colored with Copics.  When I glance at it, it doesn't appear to be copics at all....  I used Distress inks for my scalloped circled behind my sentiment and of course for distressing the papers to make them look aged.

So there you have it.... the card that I was "TERRIFIED" to create!  Ahhhh, it wasn't so bad after all.....  So what are you waiting for?  Come on and join  us over at the BnW Challenge Blog for this weeks Challenge.  I can't wait to see what awesome "Vintage" styles you can show us.

Hi Lynda, thanks for your lovely comments over my tag today. I wanted to say thanks and here I am and I find that you have such gorgeous work!! I love this card, the use of the copics is amazing and did you make the little ribbon roses yourself? They are divine. Awesome card, I am now a follower and look forward to seeing more of your work as the year progresses. Many thanks again and all the best. :-)
