The Digi Bells August 2013 Blog Hop and Elisabeth Bells Digi Release

Welcome to this months Digi Bells Blog Hop.  I'm sure if you've been hopping along, you've already seen some amazing creations using this months darling new Digi by Elisabeth Bell.
If you are here for the blog hop, You should have arrived from our amazing Guest Designer Lisa's blog.  I'm sure you loved visiting her blog, and seeing her darling creation.  =)  If not, why not join us, by starting out over on the Digi Bells Blog.  You never know, you might be one of the lucky winners of this months darling digi.

It's been a while, but I've decided not to create a card, but rather a Scrapbook page using this darling "Sweet Surprises" Digi.  She is now available in Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection.

What I love most about this image, is the fact that it is now a Digital Stamp.  She was previously released through Belles 'n Whistles, in a beautiful clear polymer stamp form, but as a Digi, you can size this cutie to whatever size you need.  Which makes it perfect for enlarging for scrapbooking etc.

A friend of mine has such a smart, adorable daughter that I just HAD to use for this Scrapbook page.  "Sweet Surprises" truly reminded me of little Alex.  I felt that it was meant to be.  The funniest part is that Alex had dropped her ice cream in the grass, and was thinking of picking out the grass cuttings from the ice cream cone.  But instead, she just sat there talking about how silly that would be.

Do you blame me for creating this page?
The resemblance is truly amazing.

Here is a close up.

I've used Copics to color little miss "Sweet Surprises", the flowers are punched with an EK Success retro flower punch, inked with "Only Orange" and "Summer Sun" Stampin up colors, and topped with some twinkling H2O's for shimmer.  The center of the flowers are rolled twine. (And the flowers below the flower shaped buttons are also created from the same twine).

How about those adorable Butterflies.  Does anyone care to guess where those came from?  It was a part of a stamp kit that I had once gotten from Whiff of Joy.  An Elisabeth Bell design.  I stamped the butterfly, scanned it into my computer, and printed out different sizes, as well as reversed the image as well.  I thought they would be the perfect touch for this layout.

It's time for you to head on over to our amazing girl "Rosie's Blog"... she has something absolutely Stunning to share with you today.  =)  But before you go, don't forget to leave a comment here for a chance to win this little cutie.
