Cute Card Thursday - Challenge #50 - Wine & Dine

I wasn't sure I was going to enter this weeks
"Cute Card Thursday" challenge.
But when I found this very cool Digital stamp from Squiggle Fly,
I decided that I definitely would.

I thought that this image would be great for
a birthday card, so that's exactly what I made.
I think it has a little "Retro" feel & I like it! =)

Truly Scrumptious - Challenge 2

WOW I just love the sketch for this weeks challenge
at the "Truly Scrumptious" challenge blog.

The cards made by the DT there are awesome!
I love the Digi stamps as well,
so I just HAD to get a couple of them,
and I made my card using one.

This is what I came up with.

Ohhhh I love it when a challenge says we should use Lavender!
(Anything Purple for that matter)
After all, it IS MY favorite color! LOL

So this weeks challenge for the Whiff of Joy Challenge is called
"Lavender & Lace"
The funny part about it is.....
As I was about to ink the sides of one of my papers
I reached for one of my Stampin' Up pads
took it out, and as I opened it, I saw the name of the ink
was called Lavender Lace...
YOU SNEAKY LITTLE DEVILS
I then began to wonder as I worked on my card
if that was where the idea for the challenge came from.
You know how it goes
Curiosity you know.. LOL

A Spoon Full of Sugar - #41 - Torn Edges

Wow, I actually have two posts in one day.
I feel as though I've been so far behind...but....
That's the way things go when you've been busy.

I've finally completed my "Torn Paper" card for
"A Spoon Full of Sugar's Challenge"
I decided to make it a baby card
since I needed to make one anyway.

I hope you like it! In real life....
I colored with a little bit of twinkling H2O's on the flower
to give it just a little bit of shimmer.
The baby's hair and clothing has a touch of
H2O's here and there as well.
It really does look nicer in person
(even if it doesn't show in the picture)

Roses On Paper - Rosettes Sketch

This is actually my first post this week.
I've been a pretty busy little beaver around here.
So what a way to start the week. I followed Rosettes Sketch
for the Roses On Paper Challenge.

I just love doing the challenges for RoP.
They are always so much fun.
Sooooo, since I needed to make a birthday card
I decided that is what I would do for this weeks challenge.
I used one of my new Spring Kit Stamps from WoJ.
She is SOOOO Cute, and looks adorable in blue!
