When he was little, he was obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine!!! I swear everything he did involved these little trains with peoples names... They were very much a big part of his every day living. So I thought for his 18th Birthday coming up in about a month, that this would be the perfect card for me to give to him....
I've used Copics to color my image, and then did a little 3D layering... hopefully you are able to see it at least a little bit in the picture below... I had trouble with my camera trying to auto focus, so I finally settled on this photo...
I think that Elisabeth Bell had to have taken a glimse into my memories when she designed this adorable little guy! That looks JUST LIKE my son, back in the day!!! =)
I truly had a lot of fun creating this one, and enjoyed sitting and remembering those sweet "Train Playing" moments of days gone by.... I can't believe my baby boy is going to be 18 already... it seems like just last week that I was watching him intensly playing with his trains and clickety Clack tracks!
Lynda, this is priceless for sure!! LOVE That sentiment and we can't help but always think of them as our "little ones", can we?!! :) Really stunning creation my friend!! HUGS
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying that little new bundle still!! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for telling me about the EHA! I've entered with my Christmas Bells-card! :)
Big hugs! Sofia
Another cute card! I love when images bring back memories like that, and make you think "this one is PERFECT." Great job with the doodled stitching, and I like how you did some layering on the image. Happy birthday to your son!
