My card for this weeks "Cute Card Thursdays" Challenge serves two purposes. First I used the Punches theme, but also made my card with a certain organization in mind.
After reading an article in "CardMaker Magazine" describing their Readers Reach Out Program, I decided that I would use this opportunity to create my "Cute Card Thursday's" card for them. This month they are donating cards for "City Light Home for Women & Children" This is a women's shelter and recovery program, affiliated with Boise Rescue Mission Ministries.
I have shown both the outside and the inside of this card. The Theme for the card is "Bold & Brilliant". The City Light Home is supported by donation, and the residents like to send cards to their contributors. They welcome thank you cards, as well as generic note cards without specific sentiments. Thanks to your contributions, and all the beautiful cards sent in by CardMaker readers, I've shipped over 2000 cards to the City Light Home. (That translates into 9 boxes, btw!) Big, big thanks! --Mary Lynn
