WoJ has a Guest Designer call, so since I got my new
Spring Stamps I started playing, and decided it can't
hurt to follow the Sketch for the GDT challenge.
When I started making the card, I was undecided which image
I wanted to use, so I decided that I would make a total of 4 cards,
using the same layout, and then decide or get other opinions as to
what one I should enter. THEN I read on the Paper Craft Planet
site for WoJ that we could enter as many as we wished to.
It was then that I decided I would take the guess work out,
and enter all 4 of the cards that I had made.
So here they are.
The First card that I made is using the new
"Willow with her Flower Basket" from this years Spring line.
She is just as adorable as ever.
I did a little bit of masking, putting the swirls in behind her.
The swirls are from Stampin' Up's Priceless Stamp set
The papers that I have used here are a combination of
Stampin' Up and the DCWV Summer Stack.
The sentiment was created on the computer by me.
The brads used are also Stampin' Up
and the ribbon pieces are from my stash.
I used a combination of Copics and Twinkling H2O's for
coloring. As well as Stampin' Up "Chocolate Chip" marker for
it's fine point for my doodling.
Now for Card #2
This one was actually chosen by my husband saying it was his
favorite This is BIG news, that my husband even picked a
favorite, because he just ISN'T into any of this sort of thing.
He LOVES to tell me that it's all just "junk" LOL
For this one, I used "Kneeling Willow" and the
"Tree Stump" accessory also from
this years New Spring Line.
Another adorable image by WoJ & Elizabeth Bell.
The papers I used here are also a combination of
Stampin' Up and DCWV.
The ribbon was also from my stash,
I wish the picture would show how beautiful the ribbon
actually is. It's a rich chocolate color with those cute pink
flowers on it. There are little silk rosebuds at the top of the
ribbon knot, and the small flowers used to embellish are just small
punched flowers.
The doodling was done in Stampin' Up's "Chocolate Chip"
marker using the "Priceless" brass stencil.
I have included small rhinestones to add some
sparkle to my little chocolate flowers along the sides
and my sentiment here is also created by me on the computer.
Other coloring was done with Copics & H2O's
And Card #3
This card is a little bit different in that I hand drew in
the tree & land background behind "Oakley on his skooter"
I used just your basic red cardstock as well as Stampin' Up
papers in blue. The strip across the bottom is blue DCWV
textured paper as the scallop edging is actually not one piece, but
several small circles cut from one of the papers in a
Martha Stewart Christmas stack.
Ribbon and brad are both from my stash,
and I have used my Copics and some
Twinkling H2O's for coloring.
And last but not least
Card #4
Here again is the new "Oakley with Slipover" sitting on
the "tree stump" both from this years WoJ Spring Collection.
Isn't he handsome? He is colored using Copics & H2O's.
Obviously they seem to be my
favorite coloring tools these days.
Papers used are from Stampin' Up. (Surprised?)
The scalloped edge area, is actually the reverse side of the
green and blue plaid paper used above.
The pale blue card stock is textured DCWV paper.
The brads are also Stampin' Up, and the ribbon was from
my stash. The sentiment was created on the computer, and
the flourish was cut from the Cricut on plain white cardstock,
and colored to match using Twinkling H2O's.
So there you have all 4 of my cards.
As you can see, by being allowed to enter all 4 of them
now my life is much easier,
because I am not forced to choose between them.
What a relief, because I didn't know which one I
really would have chosen.
Sooooo....
Katharina & Marcel,
I hope you enjoy the cards, and I just want to say
Thank you for the opportunity to enter your
Guest Designer Call.
I have had LOTS & LOTS of fun making these cards,
and playing with my new Spring line stamps!
You guys are the Best!
