This week we are "Getting in Shape" over on the
"Magnolia Vs. Stampavie" blog site.
This one took a little thinking this morning.
I wasn't quite awake yet, but my mind starting Whirling
Ah-ha.... "Suzie"
(All lady bugs are called Suzie you know -
At least that is what my son always named them when he was 2 years old)
Yes, Yes, Yes, NOWWWWW
Just HOW was I going to make a Lady Bug shaped card?
I started cutting ovals, didn't like them
So then I cut a little more off of one end...
and then a little more....
And then it sort of resembled a wing.
PERFECT
Now I traced it and made another one just like it.
Punched out a circle for a head
and the punched out a portion of the circle
and glued it down.
NOW I have a head and some wings.
I glued it to black cardstock
and away we went.
It was the perfect idea to be able to use one of my
new Tilda stamps from the Spring kit.
On the inside I used the lady bug that came with that kit as well.
The inside is quite plain but I thought it was suitable.
Here is "Suzie"
and the simple little inside of Suzie...
