Paper Take Weekly Challenge #15 - Dawny's Sketch

Papertake Weekly
has an awesome sketch by Dawn this week.
I just HAD to play along.
The minute I saw it, the perfect idea came to me.
Funny how sometimes things will just "pop" into your head instantly.

A friend of mine at work wanted me to make
2 Graduation cards for her nieces,
both in the same school colors.

So it was a great opportunity to use this fabulous sketch
for these graduation cards.

Both cards are similar in layout,
although I did do one slightly different.
so I couldn't enter that one.
But this one does follow the sketch.

The orange paper I ran through my printer
in order to get the school name on it,
It sort of made it more personalized for that school.
The rest is pretty easy to figure out.
and I have absolutely NO IDEA who makes the
numbered black paper that I used.
But it really seems to work well for this card.

And the inside
I punched some squares and tried to make it
look like confetti. I love the added "zing" it gives.
