First of all, I want to mention that Dustin Pike is hosting
his first ever Blog Candy. It's for an awesome cause.
His chosen cause, has inspired me, and that is why I decided
I would incorporate my card using the sketch from
"Sketch Saturday's Challenge"
It really couldn't have worked out more perfectly,
since I hadn't yet decided what images,
or what I'd make for this sketch.
Killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
I just love sketches with circles, lots & lots of circles,
so this sketch was perfect for me.
I absolutely LOVED using this sketch and will
most likely use it again in the near future.
Now on to the subject of Dustin's Blog Candy,
to be honest, the blog candy is great, but the thing you have to
do in order to enter is even better.
Sure everyone loves to be a winner when it comes to Blog Candy,
but this time, some very well deserving children will
be very happy if each person entering the blog candy does
their part, creates, and actually mails their cards to
these well deserving children.
Dustin has chosen "Post Pals" as his cause.
You can go there and check it out yourself.
What a wonderful idea Dustin - You are a true angel!
I have chosen to make a card for Alice,
She has Hodgkins Disease.
She also is the same age as my son, and I asked my
son to help me choose WHO to make a card for.
We both decided on Alice.
Her favorite colors are pink & purple,
but I went with pinks & blues for the card, because
I really thought the papers were perfect for this image.
She will get her little hint of purple on the dragons belly =)
We are really hoping that this card will bring a smile to Alice's face.
