Roses On Paper - Challenge 15 - A Gate Card with Stitching

Alright girls, you asked for it, you got it!
This weeks challenge on the
Roses On Paper Challenge Blog
was to create a Gate Card, and include Stitching
either hand drawn, stamped, or actual real stitching.
I decided to go with the hand drawn kind. LOL

I started out with this idea to be a wise guy
and use a picture of a gate on my card,
just so I could say, "HEY it's A GATE card"
But....
I couldn't bring myself to do it!
So okay, I sort of made a gate card, and I added a fence.
Does that count?

Well when I think of Gates, and Fences etc.
I can't help but think of The Greeting Farms ROCK THE FARM set.
It just couldn't be helped. My only problem was
that I didn't have a barn, and I REALLY wanted a barn
in the background. So guess what?
I MADE ONE!!!
Talk about time consuming, especially making all the
lines for the boards etc.
You can be sure I have this file saved as a Digi
and will most likely use it again.

I stamped Ian from the Rock the Farm set, and then
scanned him into my computer and shrunk him down in size
so that he fit in the background with the barn.

I also created my own fence piece
Placed it in front, and glued Rock The Farm's Anya there.

It all just sort of fell into place once I got started.
The cloud was just a scrap white piece of card stock
that I just randomly cut to look like a cloud.

This is the Front
but as you open the cardyou can see part of what you saw on the front
and part of what's inside.

The Full inside view is fairly simple, but cute.
Soooooo, there you have it
I wasn't a wise guy after all.
See?

My images were colored using Copics
and my papers were ALL from my scrap stash
can you believe it?
The "Celebrate" sentiment is from The Greeting Farm set called "Happy Chef"
And the Happy Birthday circular Stamp inside is.... Ummmm
I don't know, but it's a clear stamp set that go together
and I bought them from AC Moore I think.
The Happy Birthday Balloon Circle is a
computer generated sentiment.
I think that covers it all!

Hope you like it!
