WOW - WOW - WOW
That's all I can say about the
Sketch Saturday Challenge blog.
For a couple of reasons!!!
1st, because those DT cards there are just out of this world!!!
And 2nd, you should see the prizes they have this week!
talk about a "mega" give away!
But okay, enough blubber about it all... LOL
I have created my card for that challenge using
a Digital Stamp Oasis image
so I have once again killed 2 birds with one stone.
I honestly had no idea going into this card
HOW it would turn out, but I was just going to wing it!
I am COMPLETELY happy with my final result
and my lucky father, it is he who is getting this card.
I have made the inside elegant but simple
Knowing this would be my fathers card,
I made sure to keep away from too many "Girly" things.
For the main papers on my card, I used "Cloud9 Designs" DP called Ocean
The paper with the little ovals is from K&Company and
that one is "Amy Butler Sola Teal Jelly Beans"
The flower used was a straggler that I had left in my stash
but if I remember correctly, I think those flowers were
Heidi Grace designs or something like that.
My Digital Stamp Oasis image was colored using my Copics
and I have added a touch of clear glitter to the balloons.
Buttons from my stash and the rest...
Well.... You know what they say about the rest!
