One more card to post this evening -
this one is for
The Sugar Bowl Challenge #15
We were to follow Gayles Sketch
and also add Ribbons & Bows somewhere on the card.
I really struggled with this card for some strange reason
I just don't know what it was.
The sketch was so easy to work with,
the image wasn't the problem
and adding bows or ribbons wasn't the problem either
I think my big struggle ended up being the paper
I LOVE THIS PAPER, but....
I just couldn't find anything that really matched it.
So I think that is where my struggle was.
My bows were pre-made bows, they were actually on a cord
but I took them off, and used them by themselves.
I added punched butterflies using a shiny silver paper
to tie it in with the silver that is in the butterfly background paper.
I DO like the way the card came out, but in my mind,
something is just a little bit off, and I can't quite figure out what.
Oh well, what's done is done I suppose.
I think I've lost my Mojo!
I hope it returns VERY SOON!
That paper appears to be red,
but it's actually a very rich shade of pink!
I colored her shirt to match the paper, and I KNOW that was the RV34 "Dark Pink" Copic Marker. I definitely need to invest in some sort of light tent for taking pictures I guess. LOL

Hi Lynda!!! I think your card is really cute! I have trouble with matching papers myself - so I end up staring at them. lol! Love the cute image, ribbons and the really shiny purdy butterflies. Thanks for joining the SB challenge and hope to see you in the next one too! Have a great day!
Hej Lynda! I don't think you've lost it, but I do know what you mean when there's something in your mind and it does not really look the same in the end. Love it though. Kram - Anki
