This weeks challenge for
"Cute Card Thursday"
was just one that I couldn't resist.
I have seen a few cards
created using the Teal & Red combo,
but wasn't brave enoughto give it a try.
After seeing the DT's creations,
I JUST HAD to Try it!
Who knew Red & Teal would look so great together?
Apparently they are AWESOME together.
Not only that but I had fun combining them,
and coloring for this challenge.
I really didn't have any papers that had
the colors alreadycombined,
so I used a teal, and a red,
but then created my
own patterned paper, and colored it
to be teal & red.
When all else fails, you create your own, right?
I used the heart/flower on a stem from
The Greeting Farms "Rock the Farm" set
and colored it red with "tealish" leaves
rather than green ones.
So basically my papers are all just your average
plain solid colored papers but made to suit this card,
and the sentiment is computer generated
and then punched with a 1-3/8 size punch
from Stampin' Up.
Isn't Miss Anya just the cutest?
Oh she looks just GORGEOUS in Teal & Red
I'm so thankful that I decided to participate and
give this Scary color challenge a try.
I'm in LOVE with the result!
