Club Anya's Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome - Welcome - Welcome!

Are you all excited about this awesome
Blog Hop or what?
I know that I am!  No one throws a party
better than Club Anya does!

I've had my project done for a little over a week
and have been just dying to show it to you all.

But first before, I do,
I know the number of blogs in this hop is crazy,
just remember you can always find your place again
by checking back at the Club Anya Blog.
But the best part about all of this, is getting to surf around
and find all kinds of wonderful creative talent!
Oh I just LOVE that!

Soooo, I won't talk much, because I know you want
to keep hopping!
So here is the project that I have been dying to show.

ahhhh, isn't this adorable?
It's a simple house shaped box that I picked up at a dollar store
Imagine only paying $1.00 and then creating this adorable box.

I covered it with Christmas Red paper, that I had hand drawn
the brick pattern on.  I then used black chalks to give it
that "brickish" look.
I also had to put a piece of foam in between
the chimney and the house so that it left space for
the roof to be removable.
I have filled this adorable box with candies.
The Chimney was not originally part of the house shaped box,
so I created that part by myself.
here are some alternate views of my
Santa's Workshop

I thought I would almost have to kill my son the day I did all the
work on the roof.  He almost dumped my cart over, and it
would have been a mess I'm sure.
That is all glitter glue, snowy puff marker,
and white embossing powder
it took a good mixture of things to get that snowy effect.
But I was definitely pleased with the outcome.

Thanks for stopping by, I'd love to hear your comments!
Okay, better get hopping now, there is a lot more to see.
And don't forget that at midnight CST, the new stamps
will arrive in the store.  I can't wait!
