- Happy Wednesday everyone -
Here in NY state we are having a snow day!
No School, and all kinds of time to sit and play
with inks & papers.
I have been waiting for this day to be able to participate
in the Recipe Blog Hop & Challenge for
"There's Magic In The Air"

I have been waiting for this day to be able to participate
in the Recipe Blog Hop & Challenge for
"There's Magic In The Air"
Some cute stuff going on there,
and the recipe challenge was so much fun,
not to mention all the yummy recipes that
are being shared! Gotta love that, right?
Okay sooooo, the challenge goes like this
... you MUST use the image provided for this "Recipe"
to make a card and using these specific ingredients.
Use 1 tag
Add 2 textures
Mix in 3 pattern papers
fold in 4 pieces of ribbon
and sprinkle with 5 brads or 5 buttons
So I did exactly that, and decided to make my
card a Valentine card. The image seemed PERFECT
for such a card! This is what I came up with.

1 Tag - Check
The tag I used is actually a stamp from Stampendous.
2 Textures - Check
I used my new Snow Marker that I got from
Roses On Paper for the texture and fluffy effect on the icing.
Then some machine stitching around the edges.
3 patterned papers - Check
(all papers from DCWV)
4 Pieces of Ribbon - Check
Easy Peasy... 3 Ribbon Loops and a bow
That works right?
5 Brads or Buttons - Check
There you have it, I have 5 brads in red & pink
to border the edge of my image!
This adorable Digi freebie is colored using Copics,
doesn't that cupcake look good enough to eat?
I just want to stick my finger in that fluffy icing.
The "sprinkles" on top were just dots of a copic marker
but then I sponged a little bit of red ink over the top of the
snow pen fluff to give a pinkish look to it.
Okay, I know you want to taste that icing, go ahead,
but leave some for others to taste! LOL
The secret sentence is
"Paper Cupcakes,
Where The Main Ingredient Is Love"
Now go have fun, Hop around, and then Play Along!
