ROP/BnW Challenge - #30 - "Love is in the Air"

Good Morning Everyone...
I think I'm in for another fun filled week

So to kick off my "fun" I thought I would show you
what I made for this weeks
Roses On Paper & Belles 'n Whistles
Combined Challenge.

The Theme this week is called
"Love is in the Air"
Well, Yeah, this time of year, there are hearts and roses
all over the place, and I LOVE IT!

Our wonderful and very talented Iris
has come up with this challenge and has even given us
an awesome sketch to use.
You don't HAVE to use the sketch,
It's optional, but once you see this sketch
you are going to want to use it anyway!
Not to mention, anyone using it will be entered
into the random draw twice.
talk about a sweet treat, right?

It truly is an awesome and fun sketch to work with!
What do you think?

So with all of that being said,
I guess I can show you my card...
That is.... Ummm... IF You really want to see it!

Okay - Okay I'll show you.

Well you just KNEW I would use that image, didn't you?
I just adore the latest Belles 'n Whistles Release
This one is called "Sweet Love"
And oh yes, how truly SWEET IT IS!!!

Now I have to tell you, these papers that I used,
You just might be surprised to find out where they came from.
Yeah well... the floral paper on top of my card,
I made it from some digital kits
and the hearts up the side are a mix of
Stampin' Up, and Martha Stewart.
The chain of hearts going across the card were actually
created in Adobe Photoshop, and then cut out by hand.
YIKES....
That was a little time consuming, but I LOVE the end result!
Soooo, as you can see, there wasn't a whole lot of
specialty papers & punches etc. going on here
but sometimes I think starting from almost scratch is more fun!
So that's what I tried to do here.

I hope you like it as much as I do!

Now don't dilly dally... I hope you'll join in our
"Love is in the Air" challenge.
I can't wait to see what you will all create!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak,
and if you have some time, check out the rest of the
DT's creations!  You will be amazed, I can promise you that!

I saw this card on the blog and loved it -- didn't realize it was yours until now. So sweet and fantastic! I haven't colored up this image yet -- to busy with the CHA Relay at TGF!
