It's Monday again, and I was lucky enough
to have had the day off from work.
Since I work for a school, holidays such as
Martin Luther King Jr's Day is observed.
I spent my morning finishing up a new mathematics folder
game for the kids to use in class.
What a pain in the butt to laminate all those pieces
and I don't even have a laminating machine here!
After that I got right to work on my card for this weeks
Sugar Bowl Challenge
combining it with this weeks color challenge from
Cute Card Thursday
I have to admit that I struggled a little bit with that one.
I'm just not into using gray all that much.
The challenge was to use "Pink & Gray"
Either way you look at it, I did manage to combine the two challenges.
So I was happy with that.
This is what I came up with
I tried something different with my flowers. I made them out of
pink tissue paper. WOW - What a chore, but I'm happy to say
that it turned out very delicate, just the result I was hoping for.
This little girl on a bicycle is called "Going For A Spin" from
Sugar Nellie, and the background behind her is from Magnolia.
There's nothing like taking a ride along the sea shore, right?
Thanks for stopping by, and checking out my take on this weeks
