I have decided to post 2 different cards in
this post to try and conserve time.
Is that possible to save time that way?
In this post, I have combined challenges for
Friday Sketchers & Copic Color Challenge
and a card for this weeks DP2 Challenge.
I posted earlier with a very cool turorial,
that I'm I'm sure you'll love,
So for that, make sure you scroll down below this post.
Okay, for my first card,
I followed a sketch from
Mo's Digital Challenge Blog
I have to say though, that my mojo was just gone,
I had a really hard time working on ANYTHING yesterday.
I had chosen to use the "Honey's Greetings" image
from Mo's for this challenge.
I couldn't even think clearly enough to pick anything else.
My mind has been on my dear "Gus"
who is a Springer Spaniel, and has those brown freckles
on his face just like the dog on this card. Soooo
I tried my best to get into the spirit of things and work
on the card for this weeks sketch.
Gus went missing 2 days ago, in the worst snow storm
we've had in a couple of years.
Schools are closed, people are without electricity,
and all I'm worried about is going house to house
and asking, and showing a picture.
After getting stuck and having to have my son push my car
in order to get traction I finally came home,
and set to work on my card. My heart just wasn't in it.
So through tears, and worry, this is what I came up with.
I actually wasn't even going to bother to show you,
but who cares... It's not my best work, but....
On a happier note... a man pulled into my driveway
this morning, and came to the door asking if I was missing
a brown and white dog.... I probably blew his ear drums out
I said YES YES YES.... He said he knew who had him!
He said he would go pick him up and be back with him soon.
20 minutes later my "Gussy" was home.
Full of those prickers in his fur, and smelling,
and limping a little, but he's HOME!!!
Maybe making this card, (as yucky as it turned out)
was a help, I don't know... but right about now,
I'll believe in anything.
So here is my not so great card that I made while
I was missing my "Gus"

Honey looks more like Gus' little pup "Oreo", but either way
I'm just glad that Oreo has his Pappa back home.
I'm just glad that Oreo has his Pappa back home.
So there you have it, that is my news, and my card for this
weeks challenge over at Mo's Challenge Blog.
Of course after my excitement and tears, and taking care
of clipping or pulling those prickers from his fur, and
checking him all over, I was so relieved and happy inside
I felt that I was able to actually work on a card without
feeling so miserable.
So I used an image from "Phindy's" on Etsy
and followed this weeks
"Friday Sketchers Challenge"
along with the
"Copic Color Challenge"
So this is what I came up with
Yes yes, I think it shows that I'm in a much happier mood.
Maybe my mojo has come back along with Gus.
Thank you for reading this long post,
but you know, sometimes you just have to get it all out. LOL

So glad you got Gus back home! That must have been worrying. Your cards are just beautiful and certainly don't show any signs of teardrop stains lol.

Great card! That dog looks just like your Gus. It must be a relief to have him home again. Thanks for joining us in Mo's Challenge this week,
Lynda! Hi!
Both cards are just GREAT!! I am happy to hear your Gus is back home where he belongs! :D
Did you have such terrible weather? I am sorry to hear that.. With us here in Tromsø, this winter has been a bit cold. I hate freezing and I have been freezing a lot the past months.. Not less than minus 16-17 degrees Celsius at the most (we're by the coast), but when you some days add a little wind, it's colder actually. I can't wait until SUMMER arrives!! I am waiting for it, patiently!...
Have a great weekend!!
Best wishes, Hege
