Happy Friday
I hope you have all been having a great week.
My week has been awesome,
I'm worn out, tired, and feeling extremely exhausted
but it's a good kind of exhausted.
I've had the week free from work
(the joys of working at a school)
But I dedicated this week to organizing my craft room.
I've come a long way since Monday, but haven't actually
taken the time to make any cards until today.
So I'm posting both cards in this one post
to try and save a tiny bit of time and effort.
The first card I'm going to show you,
is the card for this weeks
Motivet Challenge.
I used the sketch, and tried to work a little bit outside
my comfort zone. Orange's are not my thing,
but I felt that my Morris on Ice Skates really needed to
Skate a little bit on the wild side! LOL
Here is the sketch
And here is my card
Pretty wild huh? I am usually NEVER EVER EVER
mixing these colors, but I decided to force myself to do it,
and am actually loving the outcome! Go figure!

Next I have worked on this weeks sketch challenge from the
Just Magnolia Challenge blog
The sketch they gave us was a little different than whatI've worked on in a while, so I had to think this one out!
While I was sitting here thinking, and trying to decide
which Magnolia image I would like to use,
I was sipping my coffee, and thinking.....
Suddenly I thought about a St. Patty's day card!!!
Soooo, what does coffee have to do with it?
Because I had Irish Cream flavored Coffee Creamer
in my coffee! LOL
NOW I knew exactly what image I was going to use.
It all just fell together after that!
When I was finished, I sat back to see how she looked
and I'm happy to announce that I'm quite happy with the end result.
So there you have it, I took a break from all my moving things
around and re-organizing, and cleaning out, and all that yuck type
of work, and got to play a little bit today.
I hope you like the cards as much as I do.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak.
