Club Anya & Friends "Monday Mania" and this months Belles 'n Whistles Calendar Page

Good Morning!!!
Today I thought I'd share with you, 2 things that I have made recently.  I just don't seem to take the time up upload them, but I had some time last night, and thought I'd share them here today.

First I have to say that the Monday Mania Challenge this week over at Club Anya & Friends is a very cool one!
It's called "This Is Me"    This is what they want.....  "Create a project that portrays who you are. You can make a scrapbook layout, card, altered item, gift set... any kind of paper project. It can be done in your favorite colors, using your favorite CA&F image, a project that displays a cherished past-time... whatever describes you!"

Alright, so I set to work on trying to represent myself.  decided I would use Wild Sprout Meagan's body, simply because I ALWAYS Stand with my hand on my hip... I have no idea that I even do it until one day someone said... "Let me be Lynda"  and they  immediately put their hand on their hip, and put one foot up on a chair or a ledge or something.  Well TGF didn't have any Anyas or Wild Sprouts with their hand on their hip, AND their foot propped up, so I went with just the hand on the hip... ha ha...  I then switched the heads, and used Anya from the Spotlight Scrapbook kit.  She has that band in her hair, and usually I have something in my hair, whether it be a head band, a hair clip, or SOMETHING....  I added a purse to Anya's hand, and made it pink, because I recently bought a Miche bag, and the very next choice of magnetic cover for the purse was PINK, so I have the basic black, and then PINK... which reminds me, I want to switch colors today!  =)

Okay, so onward we go.... Next I choose to use Pink & Black, because I love those colors, and I usually do wear a lot of pink.  I can't help myself, I think it's from the days when I used to sell Mary Kay! ha ha  No seriously, I do love pink & black together.  The papers I used are from The Greeting Farm, and I love those papers, so of course I had to use them! Next I added PINK daisies, because I LOVE daisies, but I honestly have never seen a pink one... LOL  Then there are pearls... Pearls, Pearls, Pearls.... one of my favorite embellishments!  Last but not least, the punched out edge along the bottom of my image.  One of my favorite Martha Stewart punches.  Soooooo here you have a card that is 100% me....  ha ha

Alright, have I bored you all now with the things I've written about myself?  Okay, but just so you know, THIS IS ME!

Now I have a calendar page to show you!  Every month on the 20th, we, (at Belles 'n Whistles) always show off a new calendar page for the birthday reminder calendar that each of us are creating.  It's a great idea, because you can keep track of birthdays and anniversaries, and special dates that you don't ever want to forget.  It's not a one year calendar, it can be used every year.  Because no one's birthdays ever change, right?  ha ha....

So this is what I came up with for this month.

I can't wait to finish all 12 months so that I can put it together and finally have the whole calendar!  Then I can start using it!  I'm just SOOOO Bad at remembering to send Birthday cards on time!  So this will end up being a HUGE Help for me!  You can get the template for this page on the right side menu of the Belles 'n Whistles blog.  The month is there, but that can be altered, or completely removed like I have done with this one.

Okay, so this is all for today!  Thanks so much for stopping in, and seeing my latest projects!  =)

Wishing you all a HAPPY DAY!
