Yippeeeee It's Friday.... and you know what that means? If you guessed another Phabulous Phindy's Challenge , then you guessed right!
I'm a little extra cheerful today, since I'm not going to work.... FINALLY some time away from all of the daily stress.. LOL
Alright, soooo, with summer here, you know darn well that those ice cream trucks will be coming around, right?
My 3D project is something geared directly toward that ice cream man! I think everyone needs one of these!

How many times do your kids come running inside, bugging you for money for an ice cream? Well if they had a little bank like this one, then they certainly wouldn't be bugging YOU to get them some money, when you're in the middle of something, right?
The slot in the top is not just for looks, it REALLY works. Just drop those coins or dollar bills in there, and you'll have your ice cream fund started! The next time you hear the sounds of that ice cream truck coming... You'll hear the jingle of money coming out of this little tin.
This is actually a tin that Prima flowers came in. I always save them! You never know when you need a tin, and well.... I needed that tin this week. So I decorated it with papers from my scraps actually. And of course the image is the sweet adorable Digi image called "Something Sweet" from Phindy's Summer Cuties collection. Isn't she a little cutie pie? Yes of course she is, or she just wouldn't be called "Something Sweet" right?
Here is a closer view of the top so you can see her better!

I colored her with Copic markers, and of course added some 3D butterflies that I got as a Christmas gift. I then added some dew drops around the edges, and obviously cut a slit in the top for a place to put the money inside.
It was quite simple and easy to make, and I think it came out pretty cute!

Linda this is totally adorable! Those butterflies are so cute and what happy, summer colours.
You know, all winter the ice cream van came out to our village, then when the weather warmed up I noticed he wasn't here. For the last month or so, no sound of the tune. Then, last night, he is back! Hooray! But it's me just as much as the kids, love that soft, cheap ice cream LOL!
Hi Lynda this is gorgeous I love this project which is so inspirational that image, colours and embellishments is top notch.
Hugs
