Hello there,
It's a Phindy's Phriday.... and you know what that means don't you? If you guessed that it's time for another Phindy's Place Challenge, you guessed right.
This week, the challenge is "Paper Piecing" so come on and join us, and lets see what you can do with those papers, and your paper piecing skills.
I used one of Phindy's more recent images for this weeks challenge, simply because I was dying to use "Hurry Up Heidi" since it's now the "back to school" season, how many of you are seeing your teenagers doing exactly this.... LOL
I know that it's hard to really notice that the colors of her clothing is paper pieced, simply because the papers I used for this card are all solids.... but trust me, I paper pieced EVERY part of this image, except for her hair, skin, brush, socks, and the cat. The res of it is ALL Paper Pieced. Using the same papers that I used for the card. As I said before, they were all solid color cardstock, that I have either stamped or doodled on. The yellow paper I actually added texture to, by poking it a million times with a semi-sharp object.... LOL I didn't actually want to poke holes in it, but I did make a bunch of little dents in it.... Heidi's shirt is also textured that way.
Alright, so enough about all of that, I hope that you will join us for this super fun challenge.
Wishing you all a SUPER-DUPER weekend.
