It's challenge day over at the New Belles 'n Whistles Challenge Blog. How do you like having the challenges every other week? Hopefully we can pick up our participation soon. Who can resist these adorable Belles 'n Whistles images, designed by Elisabeth Bell. Each and every challenge, some lucky person will win something from Belles 'n Whistles. Which of course can be used in many challenges, including the new Elisabeth's World Challenges.
Okay Okay, now on with today's challenge. Our Lovely Kathrin has come up with this weeks challenge. It is called "The Cozy Winter Nights" Challenge. So I decided to use this very adorable little Snowbaby with Snowball, for this challenge. I can't tell you the number of times my sister and I would be outside just after dark playing in the driveway with the overhead light on, and throwing snowballs at each other. My mother would watch us from the kitchen window. Sooooo, when I made this card, I decided that THIS was the card I would send to my sister, and I will have to write inside that she better duck down, because THIS snowball was headed her way. ha ha
I wanted a rather "sloppy" look if that is what you would call it, so I ripped paper, and placed papers randomly, and ended up LOVING the outcome. I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up, and added some perfect pearls to give a this a shimmery look.
Thanks for taking the time to visit, I can't wait to see what everyone will create for this weeks Cozy Winter Nights Challenge.
