Today I have a very cute card to show you... Well "I think" it's cute anyway.. ha ha
But before I do, I wanted to mention that The Digi Bells is having a guest DT call going on right now. You can find all the details HERE. I hope to see you join us....
Alright, now, for my Winter Birthday Wishes....I really REALLY needed to start making some birthday cards again, and thought that I would make this a "wintery" one. So I used just PART of Elisabeths "Frosty The Snowman" Digi (Which you can find here)
What do kids do when they have a birthday party in the winter??? Do they go outside and build a snowman? I KNOW that they do, at least my son used to like to do that with his friends. I hate to show you the types of snowmen he built though, they usually looked evil, and dressed like a hockey player... He even added big eyebrows on them. ha ha... typical boys!!!
Well, at least this sweet little girl is building an absolutely Perfect snowman!
If you look closely here, you can see that I did a lot of paper piercing. I have to say it was such fun to create a blustery winter look with a piercer. It really gives the illusion of snow and wind, doesn't it? To use this image, and not have that adorable little boy with his hand on the snowman, I had to erase him before printing this half of the image out. Of course there was a tiny blank spot on the side of the snowman where the boys hand once was, but that was a quick fix with just one simple pen line. =)
I colored my flowers to match, using Stampin' Up ink, in Baroque blue and Pomegranate.
The image is colored with Copics, and the papers are from Bo Bunny.
Would you like to see the inside?
The inside is fairly simple, with some matching Bo Bunny papers, and another adorable image designed by Elisabeth Bell for Belles 'n Whistles. This sweet little girl is called "Belle with Cupcake" Isn't she a sweetie?
Well, that's all I have to show you today. Soooo, Are you thinking about entering our Guest DT Call? You only have THIS WEEK to enter. I can't wait to see what wonderful creative pieces of "art" we'll see entered.
