Today was my day to post over on The Digi Bells Blog. But thought I'd share my post here as well. I think you're going to like this one....
I wanted to create something a little different than a card with these "Little Best Friends". So that meant that it was finally time to use a little wooden purse style box that I had bought at Michaels Craft store a while back. FINALLY just the right thing to use this for.
I had SOOOO much fun creating this, and it's been finished and photographed for over a week, I can't tell you how I've been dying to show this one off.... LOL
You can find "Little Best Friends" by visiting Elisabeths Digi Shop.
and naturally I have to show you the inside as well....
Now what would a person do with such a little trinket box like this? I think if I were a little girl, and visiting the beach, I would probably put sea shells or other little things inside to keep them nice and safe.
When I was a kid, I used to collect unique looking stones. As a matter of fact, I actually dug out of the ground something that looked like a Diamond. It was probably about the size of a golf ball. Once I washed it, you should have seen how it sparkled. After some research that my mother did, she found out that it was considered to be what they call a Herkimer Diamond. You can read about that here if you are interested. LOL

Here is a picture of one.
Anyway, enough about these "Herkimer Diamonds" although, we actually have places that let you go in, and mine them if you want to. It's pretty fun.... But ohhhh if I were a little girl again, this little trinket box would have held all my treasured goodies... =)
thanks for stopping by today, and of course for reading my rambling...
I hope you'll be back to visit again soon.
Make sure to mark your calendars, because THIS FRIDAY the Digi Bells are holding a Blog Hop.... Elisabeths newest release will be revealed and you are NOT going to want to miss this one. =)
