Butterflies and Belles 'n Whistles

Happy Monday...  Here we are, just about half way through the month of March already.  I can't believe it.  I know I say things like that all the time.  You know my parents once told me that the older I get the faster time will seem to pass me by.  I guess they knew what they were talking about.  ha ha...

Today I have a card to share with you using "Patches 'n Braids" from Belles 'n Whistles.  She was one of the Sweet Art Girls from the 2nd release.  I fell in love with her back when she was once owned by Sugar Nellie, and of course I'm Still in love with this stamp.  She is just a precious little girl, and useful for so many different projects.

This month, The Belles 'n Whistles Challenge will be to Use Butterflies on your card or project.  So of course I did that, along with making my card using mostly the color purple, and I decided that I would make it be a "Mothers Day" card.  With how fast time seems to be passing by, I thought it best to start working on a couple of Mothers Day cards already now.

I used Copics to color this darling Elisabeth Bell designed stamp.  I truly love the way that the purple and green colors compliment each other.  Did you know that Purple and Teal are my favorite Color combo?  Well I think that the purple and green is a close 2nd favorite color combo.  *wink*

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog today.  I hope that you like the card as much as I do.

I am also entering this card into these challenges:

Paper Sundaes - Feminine Flair
My Mums Craft Shop - Spring is Springing
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Mothers Day/Special Girl
