Having a Little Holiday Fun

Wow - it's the 25th of the month already... It seem like just last week, I was posting for Elisabeth Bells World Monthly Challenge, and here we are again...  This months theme is a fun one for sure....
Can you create a Christmas card using an Elisabeth Bell stamp, that is NOT a Christmas stamp????

If you can, then why not join us over on the EBWorld Challenge Blog for a little Holiday fun?

I had a ton of fun creating this holiday card using "Giddyup Pony" from Belles 'n Whistles....  It just so happens that our sponsor for this month (Crafts & Me Stamps) in the UK, sells these adorable Belles 'n Whistles Stamps....  Did you know that Giddyup Pony had grass surrounding her feet?  Definitely NOT what I would think to use as a Christmas stamp.... But, THAT is the challenge.... I found a way, and I made it work....

I found this neat little Christmas tree template in my stash, heaven only knows how long it's been in that folder, or where I had even gotten it from.... But I traced it, cut it, glued it together, decorated it, and then finished it off with glossy accents.  Ta-dah.... There you have a not so Christmasy stamp next to a very Christmasy Christmas tree, and add some holiday papers, from DCWV, and there you have it....  A Christmas Card, without Using a Christmas Stamp....  What fun it was too....

Are you up for the challenge???  We'd love to see you join us this month.... I love Holiday cards, and can't wait to see what fabby ideas you'll come up with....

Challenges that I have entered this Fun Christmas Card into:

Anything Goes Challenge Blog - "Make Your Own Background" (the tree is my background)
Whimsy Stamps Challenge - "Lots of Layers"
