My 2012 Christmas Cards

Just a quick post from me today, but LOTS of Holiday fun to see....

WARNING:  This post has TONS of Pictures....

Recently I've spent many nights awake, simply because of having such a bad sinus and head cold, I couldn't lay down, or I'd be awake coughing anyway...  I've found that I can get a lot of coloring done during those dark hours of night....  I decided that I would color all of the images that I would need to create my Christmas cards for this year.  Sure I could use random different cards that I've made, but I really wanted to keep with a simple/basic theme.  Another words, easy for me to mail out.  With the arrival of my little bundle of joy, on Dec. 4th, I knew that I would have my hands full with being a full time mommy, and then of course recovery.  So the easier the holiday cards this year, the better....

I decided that for my "TeddyBo" cards, that I wanted to start from scratch and I would not use a single stitch of designer paper.  I've made a total of 10 cards using 2 different Teddy Bo images, and the papers are actually just plain white card stock that have been stamped with wheel stamps from Stampin' Up.

Here is what the Teddy Bo Cards look like:

I knew that I would need more than just 10 cards so I decided to color some cute cuddly images from Marina Neira.... Some of you may remember The Stamping Bazaar.???  Marina now has her digital images on her Etsy page which you can find here.  And hopefully she will be back to adding even more to her adorable digital collection.
Sooooo, here are more cards that came from several of Marina's adorable critters....

Sorry, but I just HAVE to show them all.... Each adorable critter deserves it's spotlight, doesn't it?  LOL

Meet "Messenger Penguin"

Meet "Josie Pinecone"

Meet "Hansel Present"

Meet "Elf Present"

Meet "Gingerbread Plushie"

Meet "Jolly Josie"

Meet "Bikkie Snowman"

Meet "Percy Stocking"

Meet "Puppy Present"

All of those are easily found in Marina Neira's Etsy Shop....
I wasn't done though, I STILL wanted more of Marina's adorable little critters...
I then turned to my collection of

"Benny Stocking" by Marina Neira for The Greeting Farm

"Toby Santa" by Marina Neira for The Greeting Farm

"Timmy Rocking Horse" by Marina Neira for The Greeting Farm

"Toby Snowboard" by Marina Neira for The Greeting Farm

"Penny & Benny Candy Cane" by Marina Neira for The Greeting Farm

"Timmy & Penny Present" by Marina Neira for The Greeting Farm

Now THAT is some serious Critter Cuteness, wouldn't you say?
Ahhhh yes, I love me some Marina Neira critters....
No matter if they are from Marina Neira herself, or from The Greeting Farm, and I actually have others from Motivet in rubber form as well.
Once I fell in love with the critters, I couldn't get enough of them!

Did you know that the flowers that were created for these cards were all made from plain old red card stock, the leaves were punched with a Martha Stewart leaf punch like this one.
I've added Twinkling H20's and some golden glitter for a little bit of sparkle.
Hope you like the Christmas flowers as much as I do.

The next question I have to face is.....  Hmmmm, I wonder what challenges there are out there that these could fit into....

And I think that about sums it up.... I got lucky finding some challenges to enter, didn't I?

Sorry for the long post, but I just had to share each card, they may all have a similar layout, but each image is different, and unique in it's own way.

Thanks for stopping by!
