An adorable way to celebrate the Holidays

HOW can it be November 25th already???  Where are the months going?  I feel like it was just a week or two ago, I was sitting outside on the porch, enjoying watching my daughter playing in her water table, and enjoying the sunshine.  Now we are a month away from Christmas!  Boy oh Boy!!

Today begins a new challenge over on the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog.  The theme is "Christmas or Winter Wonderland"

I've decided to use one of the holiday cookie trays that I made and have ready to go for our towns annual "Elves Night Out" craft fair.  This is just one of 5 that I've made...  But I do think that this could be my favorite!

I've used "Lil' Lynda's Piano Forte" from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection, and a portion of a Belles 'n Whistles stamp called "Bell's Carols" (of course Stamped, Scanned, and Enlarged) for my focal point.

This is a wooden tray which I've painted, and the image was colored using my favorite coloring medium COPIC Markers.  I just love coloring with the Red/Green/Gold combination for the holidays.
The colors I've used are:
{Skin} E00, 943-Burnt Ochre (Prisma Pencil)
{Hair} E50, E53, YR21, E25, E29, E33
{Clothing} R29, R35, R39, YG03, YG17, YG67, E42, E43
{Accessories}  Y02, Y26, YR23, W1, W3, W5, W9,

The papers I've used were taken from my stash of holiday papers, and I really have no clue what brand they are.  I'm thinking they may be DCWV though.  I just ADORE these papers. I've use a string of sparkling red beads around the edge, it really sets things off nicely.  It was just what was needed, a little touch of bling to tie it all together!
I've topped everything off with some Mod Podge, and this is truly an adorable Holiday cookie tray.  I honestly don't think I want to even sell this one.  I might have to keep it for myself.  LOL

Well I can certainly see why you wouldn't want to part with it, it is amazing. I didn't know you could use mod podge over markers, so thanks for that tip.
