Its Blog Hop Time... Featuring Elisabeth Bell's "Cami in Fall"

Can it be Blog Hop Friday again already?  Where is the time going?  Fall has arrived, and before you know it we will be having "Turkey", and then setting up Christmas trees.  I just don't know if I like how fast the time is passing me by.

Welcome to this months Digi Bells Blog Hop, featuring "Cami in Fall".  My oh my, she's a cutie.... You can get her by going to Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection. (OR ---- You can win her by hopping along and leaving comments along the way)

You should have arrived here from the very talented Linda Levoirs blog.  If not, then please make sure you hop on over to the Digi Bells Blog, and get this little blog hop started off right.  =)  Believe me, you won't want to miss a single one of the creations we are sharing today.

I really wanted to create something other than a card with this darling little girl.  This one really called out to me, "Let's make an Autumn Wreath".... Sooooo, that's just what I did.

First I went digging into all of my papers, to see what festive fall colors I could find.  Wouldn't you know there were only a couple that were double sided... Now I had a dilemma...  I knew the back sides of the papers were going to show, with the rolled paper idea that I had....  Well my collection of Stampin' Up ink pads really got a work out this month....  Yep, that's right, I inked the backs of each paper....  Once that was done, I started rolling my papers into a cone shape.  Dabbed on a touch of hot glue, just to quickly hold it in place, and then the real fun began.  After I arranged the papers the way that I wanted them, I added some gold colored wired ribbon, and then some Raffia.  Ahhhhh, yes... it was coming together nicely.  I couldn't wait to add the best part.  The darling "Cami in Fall"

Here she is close up!

To be honest, I am just IN LOVE with this wreath.  Of course it now hangs in the porch, on my kitchen door.  It is soooo adorable.  Will I really have to put it away, when Fall is over?

As you can see I have added a "naked" tree.  But I've also included just a few leaves there.  Can you tell that I have put leaves from the image there? Yes, my little bit of OCD makes me have to have the leaves matching what's in the image.  (By the way, I know my tree is a little crooked, I did that purposely, for a couple of reasons...but who cares about that)

The papers used for this wreath are mostly pieces from a couple of different "Basic Gray" paper pads, some from DCWV, and one or two from Stampin' Up... the rest, I have no idea... LOL

The Sentiment was computer generated and then cut out in the size that I needed.

The Stampin' Up Ink Pads that I used for inking the backs of the papers are:
(for each color, I used 2 shades)
Rose Red  -  Ruby Red
Garden Green  -  Handsome Hunter
Summer Sun  -  More Mustard
Pumpkin Pie  -  Only Orange

For coloring my image, I used Copics only, for the image,
but used a few Prisma Colored Pencils for my background coloring

{Skin}E00, E13, R43
{Hair}E50, E53, Y21, YR23, Y26

{Clothing}YR04, YR15, Y17, YR14, R27, R35, R59, YG03, YG17, E25, E27, E31, E37
{Leaves and Grass}R05, R08, R35, R59, YR04, Y17, BG06, G99, YG67, YG03, E33

{Background - Prisma Colored Pencils}
902 - Ultra Marine,  903 - True Blue,  921 - Pale Vermilion,  938 - White,  1003 - Spanish Orange

I hope you enjoyed the wreath.  Thanks so much for hopping along...  The next stop is our Sweet Linda K's Blog.  I just know you will fall in love with what she's made.  Before you go, don't forget to leave a comment below for a chance to win this sweet little Cami for yourself.

Lynda, you have such a gift for showcasing Elisabeth's sweet images... I always enjoy your creations. You pull out all of the stops and make something extra special. Cami is such a doll and you've showcased her beautifully. I love your wreath! Such a clever idea... right down to the massive inking to create your own double-sided cones! Wonderfully designed. Have a lovely weekend. :o)

Holy moly, this is beautiful. I love how you 'made do' and colored the back of your papers for this project. Your image is colored to perfection and, like you, it's the little things that matter a lot to me, like making sure the leaves on my tree match the leaves on the ground. I often wonder if there are a lot of OCD people out there cardmaking...it's nice to know you're not alone, huh?! :) This is stunning and a magnificent wreath. Just beautiful! Hugs, Gail
