StampARTic - Sketch #1 by Turid Mari

I decided to join in on this awesome card sketch by this month's
guest designer Turid Mari over at "StampARTic".
It looked a bit complicated, but all it took was a little bit of patience and before I knew it, I was all ready to go.
Not as hard as it looked at all.
What a FABULOUS Sketch, and a great interview with
Turid on the site, NOT to mention seeing all of
the WOW ~ WOW ~ WOW ~ DT Cards!
The Girls there, are all SOOOO Very Talented! =)
I really enjoyed reading and viewing everything there!
so for my card, I went with the Valentine Theme!

I actually had this card finished 2 days ago, but between
having a water pipe burst, and then needing to
take pictures of the card,
I had to wait for daylight for a 2nd time.
So I made it my top priority to do first thing this morning. =)
Here you go!

I used Disney Glittery rose type of velum over
my polka dot paper,
I thought it gave it a softer, more "romantic" effect.

***
The inside of this card is so cute!
I just love Tilda & Edwin Kissing!

The lighter pink paper is another Disney paper,
I am unsure of the exact name of it since I had previously
cut off the end tab that told what it was called.
But it was GREAT paper to work with, and seemed to
suit this card well.
From this view it appears that my paper colors don't match,
but I can assure you that they do *wink*
it must just be the way the lighting is when taking the picture
*Note to self*
(I really should get a light box!)

This is the last picture, showing the inside of the Tilda & Edwin flap. with it's little hidden message saying "Kiss Me".
I love the way this card turned out.
The main cardstock (gray) that I used here, was from a paper pad that a friend in Sweden brought to me when visiting back in August. ....I wish I knew where to buy more.
*(If anyone knows where I can find card stock that says MAXI Colour Paper, I would be VERY grateful to you for letting me know.) *

Thank you Turid for a GREAT Sketch and a true challenge since this is not something I normally do. I love new adventures! =)
