Just Magnolia & Dare U 2 Digi Stamp - FRIDAYS

I finally got some time to finish my cards for the
"Friday" challenges, and just got the pictures uploaded.
First, I have my card for the brand new "Just Magnolia" challenge.
When I saw this challenge, I just KNEW that I had to participate.
After all, Magnolias were my first "REAL LOVE"
and what got me 150% hooked on rubber stamping.
Prior to that I was ONLY stamping with Stampin' Up Stamps

The background paper for this one, and the yellowish circle
are both papers from Stampin' Up
The Paisley paper is Making Memories Brand called
"Pink Silk Scarf" I just love the pink & brown combo.
The punched flowers were punched from
the reverse side of that same paper.
I used Copics for coloring, and then the sky
was colored with Twinkling H2O's.
It was a lot of fun following this sketch and
working with this little Tilda cutie!

Next I have the card that I created for the
"Dare U 2 Digi Stamp" challenge.
The challenge being to use PINK & GREEN
If I had my way, I would have used my favorite paper by Stampin' Up called Raspberry Tart.
But since I've just recently used it for something else,
I thought I had better find something else.
EVERYTHING can't be made in the same paper, can it?
No! Because that would get boring FAST.

Sooooo, needless to say,
I found a different paper combo in my scraps.
I believe that the bright pink background Paper is from Stampin' Up, but the other one I'm not sure.
This VERY adorable image is a Digi image
from Victoria Case Art Designs called "Thinking"
Now isn't she just tooooo adorable?
Behind her is the "Tulip Bowl" from "Sketching Stamper"
I thought they went perfectly together. =)
I colored her with copics, and added a punched flower along with some buttons from my stash.
The sentiment was computer generated, which I decided I would turn into a "Thought Bubble"
Now, she's thinking about the sweetness of summer!
I am happy with the result.
