Good Morning!
It looks like we will have a beautiful day today here in NY State,
And I can honestly say I'm happy about that. Our nights have already begun to get colder, it feels as though we never really got summer. We've just had SO MUCH RAIN this year.
I'm so happy to be part of the Guest Design Team for
Belles n Whistles
I couldn't resist creating this card with this
ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE
"Lemonade Anyone" stamp.
She's so cute, I could just scream!
I used papers from last years DCWV Summer stack
the lemonade paper just was calling out for me to use it.
Believe it or not, I've had this paper for a year now,
and this is the first I've used THIS particular paper.
What a PERFECT paper to use for this adorable little
Belles n Whistles image.
I colored my image with copics, and then used
Twinkling H2O's to add some shimmer and highlighting.
She's so much prettier in person than in this picture.
The sentiment is from the Whiff of Joy Summer Stamp release.
Once again, a perfect sentiment for this adorable image.
The ribbon, button, and flower are from my stash, and of course
I have added a layered flower that I punched from one of my
EK Success punches.
I have to say, that THIS card caused me pain!
Yep, I was sewing the button directly to the ribbon/bow
and wouldn't you know I slipped and jabbed my thumb.
Believe it or not, no bleeding, but WOWZA for 2 days
my thumb was SO SORE I thought I would die everytime
I touched something with it.
Sooooo, I took one for the team in order to share this cutie
with all of you. We definitely needed a little
Summer feeling around here, and this
one just seems to Hit the Spot!
