Whimsical Wednesday #12 and Friday Sketchers #80

Hey there peeps!
I just HAD to play a little after buying a couple
of very very CUTE digi images from
Mo's Digital Pencil.
I first saw this adorable image
on Mina's blog this morning.
I immediately fell in love with this handsome little guy!
I just HAD to have him!

Of course on my Mo's shopping journey I found the
female version of this image!
Therefore I had to have her as well.
So after playing with my new images this afternoon
I just had to participate in a couple of challenges!

So the image I'm using for this weeks
Whimsical Wednesday Challenge
is called "Andy Celebrating" from Mo's Digital Pencil
Here is the sketch that Jack built!  LOL
Sorry I couldn't resist that one!

therefore, I came up with this....

Yes I actually tried to use my sewing machine yet again,
this time I didn't break any thread, but man I wish I
could manage to get my sewing at an even pace,
it tends to get away from me! LOL

The DP's I used are from DCWV, and the little balloons
added to the bottom are from a set called "Bitty Birthday"
which I got for having a Stampin' Up party!
Now don't those little balloons come in handy?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the
Friday Sketchers Challenge
I used the female version of that adorable
Mo's image.  Her name is "Abby Celebrating"
Now this sketch was a little harder to fit on my
smaller 4.25 x 5.5 inch card.
But I worked it around a little and managed to
get the general idea here.
So here I go, here is my wild take on that sketch
using this beautiful little Abby.
Whatever you do, DO NOT look at my stitching here.
That sewing machine and I need to become better friends!
Hey I never was good at sewing, so what makes me think
I can do it on paper?  LOL
But I tried!!!  -  "Yes, it's okay, it will be alright"
(patting my shoulder)
I might get the hang of it sooner or later!
Just have to keep practicing!
Okay, once again I used the same balloons from
Stampin up, and more DP's from DCWV.
But what a fun image to color, she's just so pretty,
and she certainly looks like she's truly having fun celebrating!
Soooo... that's all folks...
I had my fun this afternoon,
and gave my sewing machine another try.
Not TOO thrilled with the outcome, I would have, if only I could
find that medium speed, and manage to keep the paper straight!
But zoom zoom zoom it went, and it took control...
I WAS NOT wasting the paper!
Try not to be too hard on me now! LOL
Oh Lynda!! You did a great job with the Whimsical Wednesday sketch!! Sewing machines and paper sometimes don't want to mix but it's all about practicing on scrap paper. But truth be told, I am too scared to try anything else but straight stitch on my cards - you got wicked creative with the stitching on the second card!! You keep this up and your sewing machine will be your BFF soon! :D
