~ Hey there everybody ~
What did you all think about the Blog Hop on Tuesday?
Does The Greeting Farm now how to throw a party or what?
Here we are with another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge.
Yep, that's right, this week it's all about the colors baby!
I hope you'll all participate, you can find out all the details
over at the The Greeting Farm's Blog.
The colors we are supposed to use are
Well, Well, Well....
I have to tell you, I had a little bit of a struggle with these colors.
I took a wild guess at what they SHOULD look like,
But that was before our very talented Gabby
made up this color swatch for us to use.
You just gotta love that girl!
Anyway, First I created this card,
using things like Teal and Olive greens because I
didn't have Kiwi, and had no visual of what Baja breeze was,
I only knew that it was a tealish color...
Ohhhh, never mind, I'll just show you what I did
before I had this color swatch to go by
and then of course after I found that awesome little color swatch
in my email I just had to give this color challenge another try.
So I decided to use another one of these beautiful images
from TGF's newest Illustrator Elizabeth Dulemba.
This time I decided to create a layered bookmark.

But man oh man, when I took the picture the colors don't
seem to show up like they should. But yes yes, this is much better.
Well....
How was I supposed to know what shade Baja Breeze was??? LOL
Sorry, but I STILL don't have anything like Kiwi, so I used Olives instead!
Hey.... no whispering over there, you don't talk about my problem.
I'm really NOT color blind, but OHHHH, could you imagine what
would happen if I was?
It's all about improvising, so go for it girls,
Give this little color challenge a try...
Don't worry if you don't have the exact colors,
just give it your best shot!
Then make sure you upload your creation into TGF's Galleria
I can't wait to see what you all create!
Make sure you stop in and see what the other DT girls have created.
I'm sure you will love their creations today.
I know that I can't wait to see them myself.
Oh, and so help me, if you are whispering about
my lack of color knowledge Wellllll, I'll....
Well you'll see! LOL
Now get going!
Cindy Cheryl, Jessica, Kadie,
Kim, Lisa, Sandra, Mercy.
Thank you all for stopping in,
I hope you all have a wonderful and crafty weekend!
I know I will be playing with ink and papers! =)
