Just Magnolia Week #44 _ AND _ Motivet Week #8 Challenges

Good morning -  It's Saturday and I'm up and feeling great
Because I can actually look out my window and see where the road actually is.

My dog is home, it's not snowing (right now anyway), and all seems well this morning.
My first stop is the post office this morning, I've had no mail this week, since the snowplows kept throwing that heavy snow on my mailbox, it's now broken off. Ha ha

So once that problem is solved, I think all worries will have been handled.

I worked on 2 different cards last night, so I thought I'd post them this morning.
Of course my Internet connection is kind of off and on again, but okay
I'm typing this up in another program, and as soon as I see the connection is steady Wham, I'm posting it!   ---- Oh you have to love the Great North East.  (U.S) that is...

Okay, the first card I made is for this weeks
Just Magnolia Challenge
The challenge there is to create something for a birthday.
Well that's easy enough, I LOVE making birthday cards.

This is what I came up with.

The DP's are called "English Garden" from Making Memories.
I just love them, when selecting, I am so in love with them that I almost
hate to cut into them.  I have colored Tilda's roses to be similar to those that are on the paper.  Isn't Tilda just the sweetest?

The next card that I have to show you is for this weeks
Motivet challenge.
We were given a fairly simple sketch this week, so we could let our
creative minds run wild.

I decided to use Doraline with her tulips
for an Easter card, and stamped the sentiment quite large
right on one of the DP's.  The flowers originally were a plain white
piece of cardstock.  Inked with S.U. "Pretty in Pink" and "Almost Amythist" and then stamped, and punched.  I love the way they turned out.

It won't be long and we'll be celebrating Easter
So I thought I had better get going on some Easter cards!

That's all from me today, unless of course I end up with
Something else to post this evening, but for now.... This will be all.
Now, maybe, just maybe I can keep the connection long enough to get this posted.

Have a great Saturday, and happy Crafting to you all.
