It's FRIDAY.... March 5th, do you know what that means???? Opening day for Tim Burton's ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Oh can I just tell you that I have been waiting very patiently to see this movie!
I got home from work today and needed to fill some time before it was time to leave for the movie. So I decided to work on my card for this weeks "Farm Fresh Friday" challenge over on The Greeting Farm's challenge blog. The challenge was to create something "Alice in Wonderland" themed. or as their challenge states... "Down the Rabbit Hole" and you know what that means, don't you?
I Just HAD to play along, especially after I just bought the Alice in Wonderland Digi set earlier this week. It was the perfect opportunity for me to use these cuties. So I created a little 3D scene. I just had to use a film slide as my main part of my card, of course this doesn't leave much room for embellishments etc, but with this card, I almost think it's great without all the extra's.
I have 2 images of the same card to show you, so that you can see the 3D part. I don't know about you, but I am just IN LOVE with this card! Alright, enough talking from me, I'm just going to show you, and then I think I'm headed to bed. It was a long day, and a fun evening, and now I'm officially tired out completely.
I used one of the sentiments from the Hope & Grace set, I thought it would be perfect, for an adorable little scene like this one.
Okay, the 2nd picture is a little blurry, because of being so close to it, but you can at least see my 3D levels.
Each of the flowers and leaves are a 2nd layer, and of course Alice and the mushrooms are on pop dots. So there are more than one depth or height to the image.

Thanks for stopping by, and taking a peak at my Alice in Wonderland Card.
I hope you all have a great weekend, with LOTS of time for crafting!

This card is just beautiful! I luv it! What did you use to create the film? Is the tree a stamp and who creates it? I want it! The flowers on it are sooo pretty.
