I am so glad that this has been a short week for me, even though I really lacked the crafting mojo that I needed! LOL
So today I'm going to be showing you 2 cards that I made for todays challenge. The challenge this week over on Phindy's Friday Challenge is "Birthdays"
So without all the chatter, I'll try to keep this post short and sweet....
My first card was created using one of Phindy's Retro images, called "Jacks" I LOVE the image, but for some reason I just couldn't wrap my head around it, and make it work for me.... Another day I'm sure I'll be fine, but at the last minute last night, I decided to give my birthday card for today another try. Which you will see on the 2nd card.
Here goes nothing! LOL
I think the biggest problem with this one is that I REALLY REALLY wish I hadn't colored that background yellow... Or at least NOT THAT bright yellow. What a dork I can be sometimes.
I absolutely loved using the greens & blues for this one though.
But okay, since I had to make just one more because I just wasn't comfortable with the previous one. I went with a girlish type of card.
Pinks, Purples, and Greens.... I used "Bare Bottom Baby" and isn't she cute???
Yes Yes, I do believe I like this one better. She sure looks like she's up to a little bit of mischief doesn't she?
So there you have it, my crafting boo boo's and my next attempt at something better. ha ha....
Hey, at least I showed my yuck one... LOL But for Pete Sake Don't show it around... ha ha

Both cards are WONDERFUL and I LOVE your coloring. I understand though, that sometimes, at the 11th hour, we do just one more thing-then wish we hadn't. Can I tell you how many times I've down this?! My solution-"cut it out"-literally.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who is my own worst critic! I do the same thing ALL the time. But, I have to tell you I love them both! I like the bright yellow, and the blues together are perfect! The pink cutie is adorable too! hugz, Mary

Wow Lynda! You did TWO cards?! And both are adorable!!! But I have to admit the first one is my secret fave ;-) I love the lace doily behind the image... looks fab!

Umm... I love the yellow background and I think your image is fab! The bare-bottom is such a cute image and love those glossy balloons, both cards look pretty darn good to me Lynda!
