Belles 'n Whistles "Snowflakes Challenge"

Happy Monday...  The Holidays are over, things are getting back to normal.  And today I head back to work....  I don't even want to think about what the kids will be like when they arrive back after the holidays.

Anyway, today over on the Belles 'n Whistles Challenge Blog, we have our first challenge of the New Year!  We would love to see what you can do with "Snowflakes"

I decided that I've had enough of the usual shades of blues or purples for snowflakes, and decided to take a completely different approach.  Since I had this paper from DCWV, and hadn't used it yet... (not that I remember anyway) that I would attempt to make my own decorative bag using "Catch A Flake" from the Belles 'n Whistles Snow Baby Collection.

I used a standard brown lunch bag, and used a Martha Stewart Edge Punch to scallop the top edges.  Then folded the edges down.  The rest I think is pretty self explanatory.  I do have to say that this type of paper bag was a bit harder to work with because of it being such a thin type of paper.  The end result was worth the extra effort I think.  No one can have too many gift bags, can they?

This little snowy gift bag also fits into Mary's Angel Creative Updates Challenge.  This week the Challenge is "Anything Snows"
as well as 7 Kids College Fund: "Anything Goes Challenge" (They are now carrying BnW Stamps!)

I hope you'll take the time to stop by the B'nW Challenge Blog and join us this week.
