My 2nd post for the day, and I have a card to share with you that uses ONLY shades of blue. This weeks challenge over at Phindy's Place is to create a Monochromatic card or project. It was fun working with only one color. I hope you'll give it a try, and play along with us.
This is what I came up with using Easter Bonnet from Phindy's Place Digi Shop.
Everything was colored with Copics, including the embossed white paper. I have added some crystal stickles to the bonnet on one of the birds, and some baby blue stickles to my punched flowers. I have used the "Old Swedish Lace" die on this card, as well as some stitching where I used my brand new Sew Easy tool. It takes time to actually hand sew the border, but I LOVE the outcome. So it's definitely worth the time it took. =)
Thanks for stopping by, and checking out my Monochromatic card for the Phindy's Place Challenge this week. I hope to see you there! =)

Hi Lynda, thought I would pop on over and say hello. This is such an adorably sweet card. It can help but make you smile. The image is so cute!! Love the colouring, layering, glitter and embossing. You've used so many techniques here and it looks fabulous. Hope your well. Have a great day! Hugs :-)
Love all the shades of blue. The sew easy made such a great framing stitch around the card, love the look!
Oh what a cute card with those birdies!
I really like the blue tones...
