Elphine House Australias FIRST Challenge

Greetings to all of you Elisabeth Bell Fans…..
Today is the day, we are kicking off a brand new Challenge Blog. .... Hurray!!!

Welcome to the very first challenge for Elphine House Australia.

I am so excited about this, I can not even begin to tell you.   Our challenges will be held Bi-Weekly,  Starting right NOW!!!  A new challenge goes live every other Wednesday at 9:00 AM Australia time.  With challenges closing at 9:00 PM on Tuesday Night Australia time.  Please take a look at the clock at the top of the side bar on the EHA Blog.

This weeks Challenge theme is   “Lace It Up”  We hope to see some lace or some sort of lacing on your card.  However you  interpret that, is up to you.  A winner will be chosen by Random.org and will be announced at the beginning of the next challenge.

I have used this gorgeous little girl in Clear Polymer rubber from Elphine House.  She is called "Nursing Boo Boo".   You can find her, and several other adorable stamps by visiting Elphine House Australia's Shop.

When looking at the front of my card, this is what you would see, of course you notice there is a tag peeking out, so I had to take another picture in order to show the tag.

I know that the sentiment is still hard to read, but it says "If wishes could make you well, you'd be better already"  This sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Curvy Verses set.

I colored my image with Copics.  I used shades of Purple V0000, V12, V15, V15, and the wings on this cutie were colored with Y32, Y17, and BG32, BG10.  The flowers used here are from Prima, as well as from Wild Orchid Crafts.

It just so happens that Cute Card Thursday's Challenge this week is "Lace"....  What about this weeks Stamp Something Challenge..."Something with butterflies"  well this sweetie is wearing butterfly wings, does that count???  Do you see my zig-zag stitching?  Well guess what?  That makes my card qualify for this weeks challenge over at Simon Says Stamp's Challenge Blog.  They want "Stitching", so that's just what they get.  I have both faux and real stitching here.

ANYWAY....... I kept the inside of this card fairly simple, because of wanting to be sure to have room for writing whatever you wish.  Nothing fancy here, but.... here's a picture just the same.

I used some chalks (also from Stampin' Up) for shading in purples.... and the sentiments that you see on the circle are from The Greeting Farm.

Want to play along? WE HOPE SO, because the prize for this weeks challenge is not only One, but TWO stamps of YOUR choice from Elphine House Australia!

Elphine House is on Facebook.... You are ALWAYS welcome to visit, and share your creations there.  We love to see your work, whether it's for our challenges or just for fun.

A Huge Thank you to Lew and Helen, owners of Elphine House Australia for making this all possible.  =)
