Alter It with Elphine House Australia

Helloooooo....  It's been a while since I've actually done an "Altered" project.  This weeks challenge over at Elphine House Australia is an "altering" challenge.  So I had a little fun with a small tin that originally held Prima flowers.  I knew that the empty tin would come in handy one day.

This is what I came up with....

If you look closely, beside the flowers you can see a slit in the top of the container.  I thought this would be a cute little spot to store some spare change, and it would make a perfect container for those "rainy days" when you wish you had a little bit extra spending money.

Here is a view from a different angle....

I used "Thoughtful Carrie" from Elphine House Australia, and colored her using Copics.  The flowers (Rose buds) are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the punched edges are either from Nestibilities, Fiskers, and/or Martha Stewart.  The rest were just odds and ends found in my stash...

We would love to have you join us in our "Alter It" Challenge over at Elphine House Australia's Challenge Blog if you have some time.  This is the first time we've done a challenge like this so it should be fun to see what others will do with this challenge.

I am also entering this project into these challenges:

Party Time Tuesday - Plum Crazy
Paper Take Weekly - In The Garden
Truly Scrumptious - Anything Goes
Simply Create Too - Mothers Day or Feminine
2 Sisters Challenges - Make It Girlie
