Happy Monday! Today I have a card to share with you. I just couldn't resist using "Pat-A-Cake" from Elisabeth Bells Digital Gallery. These are such typical games we play with little ones, and it brings back many memories for me. I used to play this with my sisters when I was a little girl, and of course I played it again when I became a mother. I guess it won't be long, and I will be playing this game again.
I really wanted something bright and cheery, and full of spring time color.
I kept the layout quite simple, and because of the scallopy edge punch by Martha Stewart, I really didn't need to do that much embellishing. I colored my image with Copics, and I've also used a little bit of heat embossing around the edges of the yellow paper. The rest really is simple shapes.
I've decided that I would enter this card into these challenges:
Party Time Tuesdays - Mums the Word
Paper Take Weekly - Cute Cute Cute
Truly Scrumptious - Anything Goes
Simply Create Too - Mothers Day or Feminine
2 Sisters Challenge Blog - Make It Girlie
Don't forget to mark your calendars, because on Friday the Digi Bells will be having another Blog Hop. You are sure going to fall in love with this months release. *wink*
Wishing you a wonderful week.
