Hearts and Ribbon - Elphine House Style

Happy Tuesday!!!   It's time for another fun filled challenge over at Elphine House Australia's challenge blog.  This time the challenge is to use Hearts and Ribbon!!!  Are you up for the challenge?

I really had a lot of fun with this one, and so perfect for this month too.  I used the adorable "Laura Flower Girl" by Elisabeth Bell.  You can find her by visiting Elphine House Australia's shop online.

I colored this sweetie with Copics, Actually I colored her 3 times... This image is done in 3D, although it doesn't seem to show that well in this photo.  You can see where I took a piece of lace and tucked it under the skirt layer of her dress.
I tried to take a better picture, but I'm not so sure it quite shows how I had hoped it would.  Really a picture doesn't seem to capture what this card really looks like when you have it in your hands... I honestly fell in love with the outcome of this one.  In this next picture you can see the roses in her hair are even raised.  I really had a ton of fun playing with her, and adding the 3D pieces.
The hearts were punched from my Martha Stewart punch, and the flourish/swirls paper was plain white cardstock run through the cuttlebug with an embossing folder, and then inked with an ink pad.

Challenges that I'd like to enter are:

Oh yes, you can see the 3D on the roses and that beautiful lace under her skirt. What a wonderful idea and so creative. As always Lynda, your coloring is fantastic and your creations so original and gorgeous. Hope you are safe and weathering the storm well. "Hugs"
