Elisabeth Bells World - "New Beginnings"

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Elisabeth Bells World Challenge Blog.  It's been a busy week for the Digi Bells DT, with having Elisabeth Bells newest Digi release yesterday, and blog hop.  Have you hopped along yet?  You have almost a full week to do it, who wouldn't want a chance to win her newest digi called "Little Momma"?  Blog Hop ends on Friday, May 31st... So why not join us  by starting Here.....

The Theme this month over at Elisabeth Bells World is "New Beginnings"  Soooo, with that in mind, I decided that I would create something for a new home owner, rather than a baby, or a marriage etc... Sooo I started thinking about what I could do....  This is what I came up with.
I used 3 different Elisabeth Bell Stamps for this little project.  The first is "Pepper With Gift" that was once licensed to Belles 'n Whistles.
Closer to the door you can see "Evania - Door Bell Chime" from Elphine House Australia, although, I did edit this stamp.  I have cut away the door, and the flower pot, but I made sure to keep Evania and her little kitty.  She's a perfect fit, don't you think?  The stamp that I used for my sentiment also was licensed to Belles 'n Whistles, it was one of the Changeabelles sets, this one is the Tulips from the  "Wedding - Tulips - Phone set"  I just love those little accessories.  =)

Believe it or not, the little house was created out of 2 "Whoppers" candy cartons.  LOL... and the base is a cardboard cake holder.  The doors and windows I created in Adobe, the little window flowers and roof circles were from my EKSucess punches, and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts... and the rest.....  well just odds and ends.
I used Gesso to prepare my candy cartons for painting, then I painted them with your basic craft paint.  The lines for the boards on the house are just pencil... and I purposely didn't want them to be a perfect line, or perfectly lined up... I like the random look much better.  The grass was actually paper "Easter Grass".  Of course I needed to top this with Modge Podge in order to make sure it all stayed or I'd probably lose some pieces of grass here and there.    My darling stamps were colored with Prisma Color Pencils.....

What a pretty stunning 3D Elisabeth Bell house creation you have made. It fits the Bearly Mine Challenge this week well of “anything goes”. Thank you for taking part and best wishes in the draw. Kym (Bearly Mine Challenge Blog Design Team)

Yes the house does qualify as a backgroune!! This is a superb creation and has been really well thought out and created. It is so good to see something other than a card and this is so dimensional. Well done on a great creation! Thanks for joining us at Anything Gos this time and good luck.
