Welcome Welcome.... If you are here for the Digi Bells blog hop, that's great!
I am the first stop this time, and I can't wait to share my creation using this months "Heart Strings" from Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection. The rest of the girls will also have some fun and tasty inspiration for you.
Lets get started....
We are making a "Treat Holder" for our projects this month....
I have decided to use a French Fry Box template, and do it up for Valentines Day.
What better way to give a treat, and let little miss **Heart Strings** stand in the spotlight?
Of course I used Copics for coloring this little doll, however, her sweater was colored with Tim Holtz distress marker using "Pumice Stone"... I am NOT at all used to, or even remotely good at distress markers, I was a nervous wreck doing it on this image, since I knew I would not have time to re-do it if I messed up... YIKES... Why do I test these things on things I NEED to use. Thankfully, it didn't turn out too bad... However, I definitely need to practice practice practice, if I'm going to attempt using those markers again... LOL I'm STILL a die hard Copics fan.
Did I sneak a few of these little conversation hearts before packaging them for this little treat holder??? Do you think I did? Well yes, of course I did... ha ha.. I had to taste them to make sure they didn't taste bad you know.. ha ha
Alright, your next stop is our Guest DT Helen's Blog. Before you go, don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win little miss "Heart Strings". You will certainly have a ton of fun coloring her.
I think I will enter these challenges:

How cute. Love the colors you have used..
Gorgeous treat holder Lynda, I love the French fries box design and the little image is adorable, love how you colored her jumper too! The whole design is brilliant. I am sure those candies taste delicious, but it is always better to check to be in the safe side eh 😉

Too cute! Haha I probably would have ate all the lollies not just one or two x
Love your treatbox! This digi is really adorable and matches fantastic with the sweetheart candy; love it!
Your french fry treat box has come up a "treat" Sorry but I couldn't resist! Your colouring of Heart Strings is perfect, especially her sweater! I will have to start my collection of the distress markers/ink pads/stains/sprays etc before they become "retired" and Out of stock/not available anymore! lol! Of course you had to try out the candy hearts, as you couldn't have given them out if they were bad!!
Oh my goodness, that is so super cute! What a gorgeous creation using that lovely image. An inspired creation. Love it to bits. Hugs, Wends xoxo
Your treatbox is so sweet, inside and outside!
Since I also preferably work with Copics, I understand completely that you were nervous using the distress marker.
