A quick post with a card for a very brave 14 year old

I hope you've all had a great Monday!  For me it was great to be out without it snowing!  LOL  Okay, I thought I would make a quick post with the card that I made this evening after work.

I made this card for our Vice Principals 14 year old son.  Apparently this has been so hushed at the school I work at because our Vice Principal didn't want anyone making a fuss, well HOLY COW.... Her 14 year old son has spent his day today having surgery on his brain.  I've been so worried.  I don't know a lot of the details but I do know that he apparently has a major artery that goes into his brain that is closing.  If they don't operate it could cause him to have a stroke, or several of them.  WOW this is major, and to think she doesn't want anyone to make a fuss or worry.  GEE WHIZ ....  I have a son who is 15, and I know that I would be a mess... I think I would need all the support I could get.  Not to mention the terror that poor kid must be feeling.

Needless to say, we've decided to for go the flowers, and instead send Nick a gift basket of goodies that any teenage boy would love to receive.  Along with this card the card that I made.  So tomorrow I will bring this in to school, and the staff will all sign it.  We are a small private school, so hopefully there is enough room for everyone to sign.    If you think of it, I'm sure that prayers for Nick would greatly be appreciated, every little one counts right?

So here is the card I made for Nick!
I used the "Connected Boy" image from "Phindy's on Etsy"
I thought it would be perfect for him.
